​Tyto Robotics' Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) Testing platform is engineered for simultaneous evaluation of up to eight motors and propellers, catering to UAVs, eVTOLs, and electric aircraft. It offers real-time data acquisition at a 1,000 Hz sampling rate, capturing critical parameters such as thrust, torque, RPM, voltage, current, and efficiency. The system employs ASTM E74/E2624 calibrated load cells, ensuring measurement accuracy within ±0.5% of the measured value. Compatible with various configurations—including quadcopter, coaxial, and linear layouts—it integrates seamlessly with Flight Stand Software, supporting manual and automated testing, Python API control, and connectivity with CAN ESCs and external sensors. This platform is ideal for comprehensive performance characterization and optimization of distributed propulsion systems.
